The Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona also known as MACBA was built by Architect Richard Meier (USA). It was designed between 1987 and 1990 and built between 1991 and 1995. The building is white, the signature style of Richard Meier & Partners Architects, and made up of several prisms. Most of the natural light comes from above or is filtered through glass blocks. The spaces are loft-like what makes them perfect for expositions.

When you visite the Gothic district of Barcelona this white pearle can’t be missed.
