Antoni Fabrés (Barcelona 1854) was a sculptor and painter. He was part of a group of artists known for their intense realism. Most people recognize him for his harem themed paintings.
Fabrés moved around a lot (Spain, England, France, Italy, Austria a.o.) and he was successful everywhere he landed. He died in Rome in 1938.
